Jack approached us from ABC Math, a Queens based after school program aimed at helping 3rd to 12th grade students advance and achieve their academic goals. Their need was to redesign the ABC Math website and host it on a server with the option of scalability. The goal was a more updated design with the ability for parents to register their children online as well as have an area to provide announcements from the school to current parents/students.
After listening to ABC Maths’s needs and concerns, RBD offered a solution that would be able to accomplish all of their project requirements.
RBD offered to design a modern looking website with add-on features that allows for future parents to register their children through the site as well as provide an area for current parents and students to be updated on school announcements. For scalability, we hosted the site on an AWS Lightsail instance.
We started the process by going over design inspiration and potential theme options that would fit the needs of this project. After reviewing a variety of options, Jack and his team choose a theme they believed was “The One.”
They then provided us with all of the information and creatives we needed for every page of the website. This allowed us to quickly start working on the development of the site.
The website took around 3-4 weeks to finish and another week of revisions to ensure the site was to their liking. Following the revisions, we tested to be sure the website was working correctly and was fully mobile responsive – all before launching the site.
